We all contribute to climate change in our everyday lives. The good news is we can all do something to fight it too. We all contribute to climate change in our everyday lives. The good news is we can all do something to fight it too. Shops and shopping have an effect on the climate in all kinds of ways. For example:
  • The manufacture of plastic carrier bags uses oil.
  • Driving to the shops produces CO2.
  • Imported goods create more emissions than locally-produced 'in season' ones.
  • Some electrical appliances on sale are more energy-efficient than others.

Many shops in the centre:mk are doing their bit to face up to climate change by joining The Climate Challenge. You can find out here which shops are playing their part Please give them your support.

Please do your bit too. Just think before you buy.
