Improving the Use of Energy in Buildings

In partnership with the Energy Training Consortium (ECT) we are now offering the Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Green Deal Advice* and , the Level 4 Diploma in Non-Domestic Green Deal Advice*.

For those who are already qualified as Energy Assessors, we are providing a three-day training course supplemented by a series of on-line learning modules and e-mail/telephone support to assist with the completion of the portfolio. The portfolio is built around the completion of at least three Green Deal Advice Reports covering a range of property/household types and also requires the demonstration of appropriate communication skills for the delivery of effective energy advice.

Those wanting to be a Green Deal Advisor but who are not already qualified as an Energy Assessor will need to complete an energy assessor training course as well – Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor, Level 3 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor and/or Level 4 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor according to the types of building you expect to be working on.
