Solar Thermal Training

Next date: March 10th 2010 Venue: Schuco International, Milton Keynes

This course has been approved by the Energy Institute and gives a unique opportunity to learn about Solar Thermal, from an independent expert on the topic, Griff Thomas.

The day is largely based on best practice in regard to the design and integration of solar thermal systems with building services, however it is not intended to a technically in depth course. Rather it is a one day introduction to Solar Thermal.

::  About the Training Course     ::  Who should attend

Delegates will have the chance to examine the working parts of a solar thermal system as well as the training rig used by Schuco to train solar water heating installers.

The course tutor, Griff Thomas knowledge on designing heating/hot water systems for domestic and commercial premises, combined with his involvement in developing minimum technical standards for installers, makes him an ideal tutor for this course.

•  Selection of the best type of system for different applications

•  Calculating effective contribution of solar thermal to heating/hot water

•  Practical guidance on the integration of solar thermal

•  Grant funding available

Delegates will also be able to network with potential suppliers, with adequate knowledge of the system types and requirements.
