NEF is an educational
charity based in Milton Keynes that has been working with children,
school groups and local authorities for over 15 years, particularly
in the South East Midlands and the East of England
NEF's
Education Service aims to raise awareness of energy conservation
and renewable energy to schools. NEF offers visits with the
Green Energy Machine (GEM), presentations and teacher workshops.
The activities are hands on and fun.
NEF's
team can demonstrate examples of wind and solar technologies, which
can assist towards an understanding of sustainable energy and the
need to reduce CO2 emissions. |
