Energy Company Obligation (ECO)

Energy Company Obligation (ECO)

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) facilitates energy-saving improvements in vulnerable and low-income households and for those people living in harder-to-treat properties such as those with solid walls.

Do you qualify for help under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme?

Under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), energy supply companies can help eligable low-income and vulnerable households with installing energy efficiency improvements and heating systems.

If you live in a property with solid walls, for example, you may be eligible for help from your energy supplier to make your home more energy efficient, and it might save you money on your fuel bills too.

Further information about the Energy Company Obligation is available in this Government ECO factsheet.

You can see if you are eligable for support by using this easy online calculator.
