If you would like to find your local wood fuel supplier all you need to do is to enter your postcode or place name at http://www.bigbarn.co.uk/logpile/indexen.php . You can search within a radius of anything between 5 and 50 miles, with all the suppliers within your chosen area appearing in a list at the bottom of the page. If you don't find a supplier within the radius chosen we suggest that you widen your search as there are now only some very small areas of the country where no suppliers listed.
Searches can also be done by type of fuel required in addition to postcode or place name. If you have any problems with using the site or would like further information (e.g. all suppliers listed in a particular county) then please do contact us on 01908 665555.
Thanks to funding from the Welsh Development Agency and Scottish Forest Industries Cluster in Partnership with Scottish Enterprise (in addition to the funding we received from DEFRA) our database now extends across England, Wales and Scotland.
Suppliers should either register
on line or contact us on 01908 665555 and request an application
form. Registration on line is the quickest, but we would
ask you to note that your details do need to be verified by
us before they appear on line. It may therefore take
a few days before your details appear on this website.
If it takes anything longer than that, please do contact us
as this may indicate a problem and we do like to sort these
out as soon as possible.
Registration costs £20 plus VAT (a total of £23.50)
per annum or part thereof. The fee is payable on registration
and again at the end of each calender year. Payment
can either be made on line through PayPal
or by cheque. If cheque is your preferred method of
payment, please register first and we will invoice you once
your details have been verified.
