The Log Pile Website

This is the website of the National Energy Foundation's Log Pile project, a project that aims to promote and aid the use of wood as a source of renewable energy and sustainable heating.  Although the funding for this project has now come to an end we do regularly update our lists of suppliers. Other pages are updated on an ad hoc basis only.

From January 2007 to December 2009, the National Energy Foundation was a project partner in the EC-funded project, PELLETS@LAS.  The aim of the project was to collect prices and volumes of pellets traded across Europe.   The project website is a very useful source of information on pellets, including European pellet quality standards.
