Pellet Delivery

In countries such as Sweden and Austria pellets can be delivered in sacks of 20kg on a pallet, in bulk bags of between 500 -800kg, or in bulk in the same way as oil (in which case the pellets are blown into the silo). Pellets can be collected by the customer in bulk or by the bag. Collection of pellets by the bag from local hardware and DIY stores is common in the USA where the use of pellet burning stoves is more widespread than the use of pellet boilers.

In the UK pellets are available by the bag and in some areas by bulk tanker. Pellets bought by the bag are more expensive and more handling of the pellets is required.
