Pellets can be bought in the UK from a growing number of suppliers. They can be purchased in sacks of 20kg on a pallet, in bulk bags of up to 1000kg or loose (which is the cheapest option). Most suppliers have a minimum order size for loose pellets - usually in excess of 3 to 5 tonnes.
Some suppliers ask customers to complete a pre-delivery checklist prior to ordering pellets. One of the main concerns is lorry access - usually required within 20m of the store.
